McCain and Graham’s behavior is shameful.
Rand should be applauded for standing up for our Constitution, for thinking outside the box to draw attention to this issue. Rand embarassed obama/Holder into answering HIS question.
Graham/McCain are only interested in maintaining their status in the Ruling Class. They can’t afford for the Tea Party wing to start making waves, to build momentum. Graham/McCain were in a BIG hurry to shut that momentum down.
It is time for them to go. Graham first.

Not a McCain supporter at all. But you cannot be both a “terrible pilot” and carrier qualified. Those two conditions just don’t fit together.

Indeed. Not good, but it doesn’t take from what he did yesterday.

I thought Holders willful gaming and stonewalling of Rand Pauls simple yes/no question was ridiculous. Holder did that on purpose just to agitate the Republicans because Holder sees our entire Congress as evil and was just playing them. Hopefully this was Holder's Yamamoto moment. Please help the tea party in SC, because LG is powerful enough and has a lot of pull with the SC GOP. He gets his money from trial lawyers and Duke Power.

"True, however Rand is showing himself more and more to be a Liberaltarian. Filibustering in defense of the 5th Amendment, Bill of Rights and Constitution is a bad thing? And we conservatives should not "fall for it"? Wow, many years ago I joined FR because the mission statement then was to protect and defend the Republic and its' Constitution. It is my believe that an American conservatism at its' core is defined by fidelity to our Constitution. I am curious as to just what kind of conservatism it is that would fault Paul for taking the Senate floor in defense of our rights under the Constitution. Please enlighten me.

I dont fault his filibuster, if he is in fact a Libertarian calling himself a Conservative then he will never get my vote. Libertarians are not Conservatives end of story..

I checked this morning and people are un-liking their pages, and the evisceration is continuing, especially after McCain’s new remarks.
Just sign up with a pretend name, and a free email just for FB (not that I have done that) just saying it can be done.

Well that the spirit, all the Rats have to do (and they do) is paint Rand Paul as a libertarian and folks like you will then help the Rats win. Way to go! /s
First Rand Paul is a constitutional conservative that leans libertarian, so am I. I agree with libertarians on lots of issues that pertain to personal liberty. They lose me on abortion (Paul is very pro life), same sex marriage (Paul opposes same sex marriage), open borders (Paul wants to secure the border) and free trade (no such thing exists).
I take some heat from social conservatives over the War on Drugs (we lost) and heat from neocons over the war on terror with looks more to me like a war on the Bill of Rights.
My point being that if someone agrees with you most of the time that person deserves your support most of the time. It is down right stupid to undermine an ally that agrees with you 70-80 percent of the time. Take them to task OVER THE ISSUES the other 20 30 percent.
