Personally, I still think he was too polite about it. I’d have much preferred him to say something to those two clowns along the lines “crouch down and lick the jackboot that kicks you”..
But that’s just me.
Paul asked the proper question. There is a scenario where an American citizen could be involved in combat against America, on US soil, that would require a miliary - not a police - response. It’s not beyond imagination that a heavily terrorist cell could cross the porous southern border and engage in an attack on US interests, whether private or public. If the military had to be called in to quell such an attack, they could hardly be expected to start singling out American citizen “Mohammed Hassan” from the Mideast terrorists who are with him. That is different than an American who is on U.S. soil and known to have engaged in previous terrorist attacks against US interests, in which case he would have to be arrested.
