Indeed. Way too many people here refused to see reality 4 months ago.
Quinnipiac nailed it and many refused to believe it.
Furthermore, the original article clearly states the "name recognition" issue and some other stuff many commenters here are angry about, but haven't read the article.
Btw, Quinnipiac is fast becoming the most reliable polling organization around.

She can’t pass the physical. This is a woman who quit taking her blood thinners and drank a lot of alcohol. I’m pretty sure she was ignoring Doctors orders. If she is such a bonehead as to ignore her Doctors, then she doesn’t care about her health. Not a happy future, there.

On the surface it appears that the Democrats have everything going for them and it does not look like another Republican or Conservative will ever be elected President (with in my life span, as one poster put it).Fortunately things do not always turn out the way people think they would.
Much truth to what you say. I remember watching David Letterman shortly after the first Gulf War, back when he was somewhat amusing and not simply a bitter old man. He was doing some skit about predicting the future and had cards with a timeline on it. He would flip the cards and the timeline would move forward with the next event. The ending card was something like "3000 AD: Democrats regain the White House."
Less than 3 years later, Clinton won (Thanks, H. Ross).

She’s gonna have to have some serious chin, eyebrown, cheek, neck and rump sucking done before she’ll look anything like before... She’s a worn out frump that can’t even hold her temper any more. Four years of kissing Obama’s ass and keeping her mouth shut have taken a toll on ole’ Mumu Hillary. She looks like a beached whale with a bad hairdo (or don’t as it looks like). Can’t even dye it right.

My Bad! In my earlier post on this thread I said polls favoring Romney were correct. I meant to say the polls favoring Romney were incorrect. Blasted printers devils!

Funny choices in that poll, with the funniest being Hillary. Must have been mostly funny chosen respondents, too.

RE: The next goal of a trivial stupid American electorate shall be a Female(with strong masculine tendencies)President.
How about a Female with strong, conservative convictions for President?
To: Little Ray
you could be correct (which would be very scarey indeed, very very very scarey for the future of USA).
We were thinking that it sure looks like a “coup” ... whereby a fairly small group of Marxist Leninist Islamicists seized control of the top ranks of the party apparatus (with the help of unlimited funding from Soros/Saudi Royal Family/etc.).
if you are correct and it is the broad base of the party membership, kiss America goodbye.
if it is a coup type situation, then it can (and likely will eventually) be corrected
To: SeekAndFind
Irrelevant as far as the majority of voters lean. Besides I said a Female with strong MASCULINE tendencies.

Ill be goddam if I EVER vote for this sh!t. Better steel yourself for 2016, when you'll be bombarded by all the Jeb Bush harpies on FR screaming at you for not voting for the GOP pick. They were here last year as Mitt Romney harpies, they go with whoever is the latest RINO flavor once he's crowned at the Repubican Convention.

It is not coup. There has been a leftward drift all my life and I’m over 50.
Remember Glenn Beck’s book “The Overton Window?” Well, the Overton Window is a real concept. It frames what is politically possible and it is mobile. It has been moving farther and farther left since I was a boy.
Nowadays, most “conservative” ‘Pubbies would fall to the left of the average Democrat of the mid-60s. Most liberal Democrats are more like the hippie trash that was taking over and wrecking campuses (campii?) in the 60’s. Even when conservatives held power, they don’t move the window back to the left; they just stop or slow the leftward movement.
Problem is, survival and prosperity are no longer tied to what you do. It is tied to manipulating the “system.” You can have a passable life if you just scam the system, drop a few bastards, etc. If you are more ambitious you work for for the system. If you are trying to get bloody rich, you figure out how to be a crony “capitalist.”
We need a principle “Nobody is entitled to anything for which someone else must pay.” Unfortunately, that would get you killed at the polls. From where I stand “We Are All Doomed” per John Derbyshire.

Thanks SeekAndFind.
- ...by softening its edge on some volatile social issues and altering its image as the party always seemingly "eager to go to war... We do need to expand the party and grow the party and that does mean that we don't always all agree on every issue" ... the party needs to become more welcoming to individuals who disagree with basic Republican doctrine on emotional social issues such as gay marriage... "We're going to have to be a little hands off on some of these issues ... and get people into the party," Paul said. [Rand Paul: Time for GOP to soften [immigration, gay marriage] stance]
- One day after announcing on his radio show that he is "truly considering" running in 2014 for the U.S. Senate seat now held by New Jersey's Frank Lautenberg, Rivera amped up his message today in a television interview and a column on the Fox News Latino website... a moderate Republican who is fiscally conservative but also supports gay marriage and Roe v. Wade... [Geraldo Rivera declares himself a 'moderate Republican' as he eyes U.S. Senate run]
