To: nutmeg

In most instances, Twitter, in my instance anyway, is lame and boring. But when there is a crisis like the uprising in Iran or Israel gets attacked or something like standforrand, then it is interesting to watch the tweets just roll in!

I have friends, however, that use it daily like we do FR. Go figure!

I've heard that, and - since I'm not yet on Twitter - I don't quite understand that. How does one keep track of all the tweets, and how do you find other people you want to "talk" to? What if you're following 500,000 different people? LOL

I have this image that Twitter is where everyone is just talking past each other, and short little bursts go by in a flash, and no one ever remembers what anyone says.

One of these days I'll get a Twitter account to see if it's really like that, I guess... it's the only way to be sure. ;-)
