I made smart ones too, homeschooling helped. One’s a Greek freak, heavily into Biblical Greek, who wanted to study law but couldn’t even dream of a college education, so far beyond my means it was. This proved a blessing in disguise. Nothing but sane conservatives in the family.
But don’t worry, they usually learn from life, what really matters and what really endures.

I hear you there too. Twenty year old used cars, no vacations, meals at home, and board games a lot = No student loans, or public supported grants. We paid their tuition. They worked their way thru living expenses with part time jobs.

BTW, the law school she goes to does not allow their juris doctorate students to work while attending. They strong arm the students to take out loans. It's one of the best law schools in the country. They want their graduates owing big when they graduate. I have no idea why, but I can guess.

We won't let that happen though.
