Bill Cosby says those who oppose Obama are racist
The Washington Times ^ | 3/4/2013

Comedy and television icon Bill Cosby slammed Republicans who failed to stand for President Obama’s State of the Union speech, likening them to racists who opposed desegregation.

“I think we have people sitting there,” he said, referring to the president’s SOTU speech, during a CNN television interview reported by Mediaite, “who are as bad as the people who were against any kind of desegregation.”

His comments came in context of a discussion about racism and the 1965 Bloody Sunday march across Selma, Ala., Mediate reported. Rep. Connie Mack said “it’s just hard to believe,” and “it’s unbelievable,” in reference to the level of racism that marked that decade, Mediate reported.

“I don’t think so,” Mr. Cosby said, Mediate reported. “Not when you look at the president’s speech recently.”

That’s when he made the remarks about those who failed to stand for Mr. Obama’s speech. He didn’t say Republicans — but it was members of the Republican Party, not Democratic Party, who failed to stand.

“And then in place of a better America, they want their own sick feelings put across and … it isn’t a good time,” he said, as Mediate reported. “But I think, also on our part as professors and presidents of colleges all over, and in public schools, we need to get the education of the correct history that happened so people can say, ‘Yes, this really did happen.’ “

When it comes to Obama, every Black in the United States has a screw loose.

The racism is so obvious and open it’s palpable.

And they call White folks racists.

Funny.

Every black? Come on now. 4-5 % did not vote for him this past election, including me.

At some point, Blacks will yell “Racist” and White people won’t care... I think we’re already at that point where there are many people don’t care. Unfortunately, most politicians panic at the word. When the politicians finally become numb to it, the Black folk better watch out.

A question to Bill Cosby.

What part of anything Obama has done has worked?

What part of racism is it to question what O bama has done?

I just don’t understand why people don’t get up and cheer when the President calls them every name in the book, and says that he stands for the opposite of everything they believe in. The gall of these white folks!

You sir are a hero as there is very little politically more difficult than being a black conservative or Republican. We think us whites have it bad, but it must be so much more difficult to be told that you have no right to think a certain way because of the color of your skin. These people don’t even have a clue about how blatantly racist THEY are when to pull stunts like that. Courage! The truth will end up winning at the end.

It’s easier, and less painful, to accuse others of racism, than to be honest about one’s community.

However, it’s the willingness to be honest, and humble, that would save the black community.

It’s inexplicable how so many otherwise perfectly sensible people go off the rails when it comes to defending Obama.

According to CNN you don’t qualify any longer. You’re an evil American just like the rest of us.

Bill Cosby is as much a black racist as Jessie Jackson or Al Sharpie Sharpton is.

A Black Racist.

For many blacks, it’s not really racism that is at the root of their accusations, it’s shame. They feel, even if only in perception, constantly judged by whites for the problems in their community.

I agree. It may only be 5% or so but we shouldn’t dismiss them. They are some of the most hated by their families and their own race...

Sad, but true.

If you’re black and you voted for the black POS in the White House because he’s black your racist... plus you’re an idiot.

The irony is that problem in their communities is that Democrats run them. So I do judge them based on that. If they are ignorant enough to keep electing the same idiots to run their cities/Towns/districts, then yea, I’m gonna judge em....and the verdict is...they, like every other liberal, deserve what they get.

I've had WHITE people call me a racist for not worshiping the one. These were people I once thought of as friends. Well, they're gone from my life now, so I guess they weren't my friends to begin with. They worship this two-bit hustler so fervently, they will distance themselves from family and friends. When they find out the extent of their god's malevolence, they will look for comfort from those who once loved them, but those friends and family will be gone.
