STOCKS HIT NEW BULL MARKET HIGHS AS APPLE PLUNGE CONTINUES: Here's What You Need To Know

Sam Ro
March 4, 2013

Stocks continue to march toward their all-time highs. And they're doing it without the help of Apple.

First the scoreboard:

Dow: 14,127, +38.1 pts, +0.2 percent
S&P 500: 1,525, +7.0 pts, +0.4 percent
NASDAQ: 3,182, +12.2 pts, +0.3 percent

And now the top stories:

* It was a quiet day in the markets and the economy. This is the first full week with the federal budget cuts known as sequestration ripple across the economy. Yet, the markets continued to grind higher.

* This rally comes amid some jitters in China where China's Shanghai composite tumbled and property stocks got crushed. The big news was that China announced new measures to contain a heated property market that many people worry has evolved into a bubble. Coincidentally, 60 Minutes ran a feature on Sunday night highlighting China's notorious ghost towns, which many consider to be hard evidence of a bubble.

* Meanwhile, shares of Apple, the most heavily weighted stock in the S&P 500, tanked. Notably, it fell below $425, which was the bearish price target of fund manager Jeff Gundlach. "AAPL over the last six months offers a textbook case study in market behavior and effectively debunks efficient market theories," said Gundlach in an email to Business Insider. "The weakness is all the more remarkable because it has occurred within the context of a strong overall US stock market. SPX up 5% since September 19, 2012 and AAPL down 40%."

* Once again, stocks are just points away from their all-time highs. The Dow closed at its all-time high of 14,164 on October 9, 2007, the same day the S&P closed at its all-time high of 1,565.

You are just a jealous ideologue.

What on earth do you have that I should be jealous of you?

I want for nothing, and I have a wife that loves me unconditionally.

My children and grand children are happy despite my wanting more for them.

I have discovered they can direct their own lives and do so in a loving Christian manner, and none of them are queer and neither are their friends.

The doctrine of “right action,” if I may interpret the message of the Bhagavad-Gita (for myself) is that these people must be fought and slain if necessary.

The trouble for us is to avoid a karmic debt along the way and attachment to the “sense objects” that both Krishna and Yeshua warned about.

In our world today, fantasy has become a medium of infinitization.

The doctrine of “right action,” if I may interpret the message of the Bhagavad-Gita (for myself) is that these people (the homosexuals) must be fought and slain if necessary.

The trouble for us is to avoid ‘attachment to sense objects’ or ‘sins of the flesh’ that both Krishna and Yeshua warned about.

The Vedas say Kalki will come riding a white horse to slay the wicked himself with a sword.

The Bible says the same about Yeshua.

The Bible says

So long as you are into comparisons, I have everything you have and much more. But I will refrain from details because it will only make you even more jealous. It is amazing what one can achieve in this great country called United States of America by studying hard, working hard and not waste energy hating any group. Successful business people in US appreciate hard work and talent more than any country I have seen, and the really successful Americans do not care if you were born some other place. No wonder I experienced not a single day of unemployment in 37 years of working in great jobs in the US.

Good review. None of these devices are perfect. The Note 2 feels plasticky and cheap without a case, but with my Otterbox Commuter it feels just right. If it were built too rich you wouldn’t want to carry it. Aside from being hopelessly tiny, the iPhone 5 also feels noticeably cheaper than its predecessor. I was shocked by that. Strangely it feels less substantial in a case.

So long as you are into comparisons,

I am not into comparisons, you stated that Homosexuality has not bothered you only taxes has cause you any trouble.

I pointed out several instances where Homosexuality costs you money, not to mention they ways in which it destroys cultures. You ignored totally any challenge to the lack of harm caused to you personally and to society in general and began to expound on the joys in your life.

There must be a reason you can't recognize the destruction that homosexuality brings to a culture.

Personally I take history and the wisdom of the Bible very seriously, on that matter, you apparently do not.

Do not twist my words. I never ever said homo’s do not bother me. Yes they do bother me, and a few times some have made subtle overtures to me and it was disgusting & revolting.

But on a scale of 1 to 10, taxes bother me at 10 on my lifestyle. Homo’s are no more than 3. I hope you are good in discerning math and probabilities. So I focus my energy in fighting taxes. Kapish?
