If Bush really had wanted to protect Americans from radical Muslims, he would have done something about our border security.
Starting with putting up real, physical fences on the borders.
But he didn’t.
If Bush had wanted to do something about protecting Americans from radical Muslims, he would have stopped being such a bootlicking dhimmi with the “Islam is a religion of peace” crap. He would have stated the obvious in an obvious way, and if radical imams popped up in Detroit or whereever, we should have used that as an opportunity to take them in without disturbing the rest of the populace.
If Bush had wanted to protect Americans from radical muslims, he would have diminished or eliminated immigration from islamic countries. He didn’t. If Bush really wanted to protect Americans from radical muslims, he would have prohibited any foreign muslims from attending engineering schools in the US, as well as cancelled the student visas of muslims already enrolled in engineering programs.
Bush did none of these things. What Bush did is blow sunshine up your backside. That’s it.
