I don’t have a problem with local law enforcement having access to an armored vehicle, depending upon what they do with it.
I remember several years ago a sniper had people pinned down in a 7-11 up the street from me and the county police positioned their armored car so that the people could be extracted. That’s a legitimate use. Oppressing the people of course is not.
