Nuts!
Years ago our Government did attack it’s own people at Kent State and later in Waco.
That didn’t work out so good for them...
Also, all of the tanks are operated by good lawful people that are picked from the non-criminal population of our country.
If you think the police officers of this country side with the left, you are wrong...
WACO worked out just fine for Reno, H0lder and Horiuchi, among others.
First off, this is DHS. Made of the same cloth as TSA, and we know the kind of employees they hire.
Second, do you remember the seige of the Wisconsin Capitol building, when the legislature and Scott Walker were working to increase the unions’ portion of health insurance premiums? The police refused to enforce the laws. Their loyalty was NOT to the rule of law, but to the union.
Third, what the rank and file policemen believe has nothing to do with what they will end up doing. I reported election fraud and subornation of perjury by DNC Counsel Bob Bauer to the Lincoln Police Department. I overheard some bureaucrats there talking beforehand about how I must be a Tea Partier type and how stupid it is to think that a state could do anything about an election. When I spoke with the officer he said he had found Arpaio’s evidence compelling and would initiate a case file based on my affidavit but that he already knew that his boss would tell him he couldn’t investigate. He said it really should go to the AG. I said I had already tried to report it to the AG but they told me that they can’t take complaints from citizens; it has to be referred to them by law enforcement. He said that was a lie (which I already knew), as was the FBI’s same lie to me. He agreed to send the case to the AG. After several weeks I called back to check on the status. He told me he had been told that he not only couldn’t investigate, he also could not refer it to the AG. I asked for the reason for that and if it was standard procedure and he said it was not standard procedure but would not say what reason was given. I reported it to the AG’s office and they sent it to that great law enforcement body, the SOS’s office (/s)
IOW, from the very local police right on up to the top, the players will all do as they are told, and that has NOTHING to do with justice or truth.
We had the same thing with the military, in regards to Lt Col Terry Lakin, who refused to obey combat orders because he did not know whether they were lawful, since the Constitution does not allow a non-qualifying President elect to “act as President” and the War Powers Act and the Authorization to Use Force all require the consent of the Commander in Chief for lawful combat orders. He knew that the de facto officer doctrine would require him to obey the orders even if they were unlawful, but he was willing to take the penalty for disobeying for the sake of the greater good of having it sorted out whether the orders WERE lawful - whether Obama CAN lawfully “act as President” under the 20th Amendment.
Immediately the cry went out that he was a fool and a bad man because he didn’t “just follow orders”. Judging by the responses I got here, the general idea was that unless an officer tells you to murder and rape in cold blood, you have to do what they say and if you question it you are the bad guy.
That push was critical to everything Obama is about, because if the underlings all know they will be derided and thrown under the bus if they resist tyrannical leadership, very few of them will raise a peep but will simply do what they are told to do. That means that as long as Obama can get LEADERS who will give the unconstitutional orders, the entire military will become his killing machine for him. So what is he doing now? He’s purging the leadership of anybody who has a problem with ordering troops to fire on Americans. With the help of some folks here at FR (and elsewhere) he has reduced the number of military people willing to do the Oath Keepers thing - which means that once he purges the military leadership of all the Constitution-minded people, he has effectively taken over the whole military machine, except for a few stray Constitutionalists who will quickly be beaten down.
I think we make a mistake if we assume that the little people (in law enforcement, military, Congress, courts, media, academia, etc) are willing to rise to defend the Constitution by disobeying orders given by their leaders under the cover of lawfulness. How many people are willing to get the treatment that Lakin got - even by people who otherwise talk a pretty piece about conservatism and the Constitution? When the machine has been taken over by the enemy, the only resistance available is to actually break the laws. How many people are willing to break laws in order to defy their tyrannical (but lawfully empowered) leaders?
“If you think the police officers of this country side with the left, you are wrong...”
Specific proof is hereby requested.
PS History shows the police to be guards of ‘authoritay’.
PPS I do so wish you were right, however.
Local law enforcement stood down. they watched as the FBI and ATF borrowed tanks and operators from the military.
Then the Fedgov moved in and killed those people.
That was reinforcement for the government - there were no real consequences.
Name 2 adverse consequences for the FBI or ATF or any of the individuals involved as a result of their actions at Waco. (One could be a coincidence and there really should have been many.)
