Rachel Maddow Busted Using Multiple Fake Twitter Accounts To Boost Mentions Of Her Show

A poster on Twitter, upon seeing what he thought were very similar posts referencing MSNBC host Rachel Maddow's show, did some searching and found out that Maddow has been using phony twitter accounts to boost her "mentions" on the popular website.

As can be seen by screenshots collected by a tweeter named @LeftyBollocks, Maddow has massive amount of accounts posting the exact same claim that "Confession: I yell at my TV while watching Rachel #Maddow talk about filibuster reform in the same way most people do during football."

With so many supposedly unique accounts mentioning her name, the term #Maddow has quickly risen to the top of trending topics on twitter-something @LeftyBollocks found odd since her show has so few viewers.

This leads to the obvious question of whether Maddow is also somehow able to "game the system" to fake the number of viewers her program has. If she is, she is doing a terrible job of it.

It’s still dishonorable and embarrassing when a media figure like Rach gets caught in the act. Well, in that act, that is.

Note the nomenclature. It looks like only six or seven out of all those first names and last names are what us old farts would consider to be serious names rather than statements or pretensions or simply random syllables.

Madcow will deny it all and, without offering any proof, claim it was done by hateful, mean-spirited conservatives to make her look bad. The “media” will take her at her word, and without bothering to back-check her claim, report only what she says about the “incident”. Then it will go down the memory-hole, never to be seen or heard about again, and the “culprits” will never be “caught”. This is how the “media” operate today.
