FY 2009: Revenue - $2105 Billion Spending - $3518 Billion Surplus or Deficit - $1413 Billion DEFICIT

I'm not understanding the use of the word "Billion" here. That deficit above is 1.413 TRILLION. The total deficit over those four years is 4.463 TRILLION. IMO, using the denomination of BILLION significantly underscores the actual amounts that were spent above the revenue received.

I am using the word BILLION to illustrate the point that all of the sequestration talk, $85 BILLION, is the amount cut from a MUCH large BILLION number. Using the word TRILLION hasn't seemed to sink in the heads of the Low Information Voters.

Spending for FY 2013 is estimated to be around $3800 BILLION. With a cut of $85 BILLION, that shrinks the estimate to $3725 BILLION. To me, that paints a much different picture than what Obama tries to paint. You may not agree.

If you are addressing the Zero information voter, you're in the wrong forum.
For us math literate, 1413 Billion$ IS identical to 1.413 Trillion$

Assuming the Zero Information voter is capable of grasping the concept is presenting facts not in evidence.
