Oh brother. My entire family works private sector and are doing extremely well. My brother in law just received a promotion and moving from Tennessee to Indiana. My brother works for a private company as an Engineer and makes big money. I retired from the Navy after 24 years and loved the military so much that I wanted to stay with them. You can’t be in uniform your entire life even if you want to. I sacrifice making big bucks for loving what I do. Sorry you are so bitter.

You sound like a pretty reasonable guy when you aren't name calling and shouting 'liar' at people.

The last company I worked for started furloughs in 2008 where everyone took two days off per month instead of letting one person on the team go. Furloughs and cutbacks have been going on for years; I'm actually glad that government employees are actually experiencing what the rest of us have been going through. Seeing some federal employee making $6K a month bitch and moan about being furloughed 4 years into the Obama presidency (a federal employee who donated to Obama's campaign by the way, Mr. Gregory Russell) while he is still employed and still enjoys government benefits is a little too much to swallow.

I guess I expected Freepers to feel the same way, but obviously, some do not.

Here is my response to anyone who might be negatively affected by the sequester cuts because they work for the government. "Whoop tee f**king do."
