Former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., who pleaded guilty to misusing $750,000 in campaign funds and is facing a 46- to 57-year prison term, is now writing a book about his life in order to clarify his legacy.
“He has nothing else to do right now,” one source, who’s seen draft pages of the memoir, told the Chicago Tribune. He’s trying to “clear up his legacy. … He’s desperately trying to change the narrative of his life story.”
Mr. Jackson will be sentenced June 28...

No one who’s been attainted by a disgrace ever wants to rehabilitate himself the hard and true way, by living it down.

Should be one of the shortest books ever printed. I'm estimating it will be approximately 1 page in length.
I mean, seriously, how long does it take to say "I was raised by a race-baiting huckster of a father who taught me that morals and ethics are only for white people. Black people can use the race card to get what they want, but it won't always keep you out of trouble - ESPECIALLY when your race-baiting huckster of a father is mostly retired and living off of the money he scammed from American corporations through race-baiting"?

The laugh is on us. He won’t be in prison more than 5 years..when he gets out he will get some kind of pardon and be back in elected office in IL within 10 years..in the meantime he will be a paid commentator on MSM. In his elder years he will probably be a Prof at Harvard Kennedy School of Government Criminality.
The Obamessiah will pardon him fer shure.
Cruel and unusual punishment would be to get assigned that in a class... or locked in solitary with only that for reading material.
I’m wondering if Jesse still has enough juice to hire a ghost-writer. He doesn’t strike me as a literary great.
