I think one of the reasons she and the other politicians didn’t like it, however, wasn’t so much because of the waterboarding but because it didn’t portray Obama as having been very important in the hunt for bin Laden (which of course he was not, since it had been going on just about from 9/11/01). But that went against the Obama narrative, so of course the apparatchiks had to attack the film maker.
I still can’t believe that Argo won over Zero Dark Thirty…. Argo was, ok at best…
