Woodward did not lie about Nixon. Why would he be lying now? He is just protecting his rear end by outing the threat. If his car crashes, it won’t be ruled an accident quickly, without an investigation now.

I think Bob is wise to hold the name back for now. And keep a copy of the email ready to drop at any minute, or in the event of an untimely demise.
