Maybe if there is such a thing as luck ... the lame-stream drive-bys who would participate in the action described will understand the consequences. Action = consequence (opposite and equal reaction). The (consequence or reaction) would not be pretty imho. The dam has cracked, I pray.

Those are interesting insights. I personally believe he thought he could tear down America and rebuild it in his own socialist image, but he has just recently been thwarted by millions and millions of Americans stocking up on guns and ammo. We will discover just who among the Washington press corps still has pretenses of being a "journalist"...and who has resolved themselves to serve the administration as a "propagandist". And, of course, a third group -- who won't take a public position because they are gutless.

Personally, I don't expect a lot of action on the "journalist" side of the street.

I think this is a major mistake on the part of the White House. Attack Bob Woodward? He is a living, breathing Liberal Hero! Very hard for the Lib's to brush Bob off as a crazy racist.

Understand that some members of the Washington Press Corps were already demeaning Woodward because he was publicizing that the sequester was Obama's idea. Ezra Klein, a fellow Postee has been particularly nasty.

This may well resolve itself into a generational dispute among the Washington Press Corps -- the older types who remember that it was all about "reporting" vs the younger class that are involved in "influencing public opinion".
