When Bath House Barry was elected I reconciled myself that this WAS the end of the American experiment. Remember he is only the puppet as the Bushes, Klintoons for the New World Order. He should be impeached - without a doubt but we have no discernible opposition to the powers that be. People here & other sites talk a big deal but never any action. Oh sorry, they call their corrupt, bought a paid congress scumbag or write an E-Mail or actually rally. Do any of you think that matters? My advise - if you are a young white male & conservative in nature try looking into leaving this place while you still can. Just read history & follow the dots.

The Senate bill expands “coverage” to men, homosexuals, transgendered individuals and prisoners. It expands the definition of domestic violence to include causing “emotional distress” or using “unpleasant speech.” It ostensibly nullifies the legal presumption of innocence until proven guilty. The bill also expands the law’s reach to give tribal Indian authorities jurisdiction over non-Indians accused of abusing Indian women. Finally, what good is a social engineering bill without tossing in bones to the most sacrosanct constituency, illegal immigrants? It would grant more visas to illegal immigrants who are victims of domestic abuse.

No, and won’t for a while. I’m really having a nervous breakdown over this whole moving thing. I don’t think I’m cut out for home ownership after all.

Anyway, BF has to remodel the bathroom first, and I can’t decide what to do with the living/dining room floors. There’s a dated sculpted carpet throughout. I thought of tearing it up to see what the hardwood underneath looks like. But refinishing might be a bear. Or should I just recarpet with something neutral?

If there’s hardwood underneath it could be cheaper to refinish it than re carpet. Plus it would look better. That’s what we did including the kitchen.
But then you have to buy rugs which you can look for at your swap meets...that could be fun?

Don’t be afeared, you’ll get to appreciate what you have in the end.
