No, and won’t for a while. I’m really having a nervous breakdown over this whole moving thing. I don’t think I’m cut out for home ownership after all.

Anyway, BF has to remodel the bathroom first, and I can’t decide what to do with the living/dining room floors. There’s a dated sculpted carpet throughout. I thought of tearing it up to see what the hardwood underneath looks like. But refinishing might be a bear. Or should I just recarpet with something neutral?

If there’s hardwood underneath it could be cheaper to refinish it than re carpet. Plus it would look better. That’s what we did including the kitchen.
But then you have to buy rugs which you can look for at your swap meets...that could be fun?

Don’t be afeared, you’ll get to appreciate what you have in the end.

the only emergency is the kitchen - those are hell to remodel when you live in the house
