Hamm's wasn't that bad compared to say, Utica Club, Schmidt's, or Stroh's.

I'll even throw in PBR, Schaeffer, and the reformulated Schiltz.

Ever tried “Lucky Lager”(tm)? Had an aftertaste like the green slime on the side of rivers smelled like. Didn’t taste all that well either.

All the Rochester, NY suburban Dads with their Genny Cream Ale's on the weekends... (mid 70’s kid memory)!

I like a good Franziskaner Hefe-Weiss. I don't know if I spelled it right, but stick a lemon wedge in and I'm good to go. Or I'll stick with a nice white wine. Yeah, I'm a girl. Budweiser was when I wanted to drink quantity not quality in those not so distant college days. Still, once in a while it was fine but do people really have to sue over Bud being watered down? Really? What was the clue, you need to drink the whole case to get a little tipsy?

There was also Grand Prize (3 quarts for 99 cents in late 1950s), Pearl, Blatz, Jax (I worked with a PHD Chemist who was part owner with his two sisters) and Cold Brau ($2.98 a case in the late 1950s when I was a young teen). ...Hard to believe that we drank that stuff, but pennies counted back then and gas was around 17 cents a gallon.
