The Washington Post's Bob Woodward tells POLITICO Playbook that the White House is muddling the facts on the sequester - "a classic case of distortion and confusion."
**SNIP**
"The White House pushback is a classic case of distortion and confusion," Woodward said in an email to Playbook. "We unfortunately have seen this too often in recent presidential history... I do not think it is willful. They are just mixed up, surprisingly so."

What a demented loon
He might be more effective if he took the media to task for aiding Obama.
Of course it is. Woodward just can't bring himself to say so.
Woodward didn't seem so confused about Nixon, it seems.

Sissy Woodward will never man-up and be a REAL journalist. And it’s sad that he has a golden opportunity to be a real one by calling out the hypocrites - but of course, he would have to out himself in the process. But it would make for a good media splash!
What if the sequester went ahead on schedule and noboody noticed the difference?
The sums subject to the “sequester” amount to a bookkeeping error, and probably will be made up before the next month is out, just by printing more money under the “QE III” protocol.
Obamao WANTS military cuts!!!!!!!!!!!
If Bronco Bama REALLY wants to stop military spending, he would give the order to withdraw from Afghanistan tomorrow morning, and expedite an even bigger bug-out than the departure from Viet Nam.
Taliban wins.
And the fuse would be lit....
The Obamugabe Administration takes no responsibility for anything ever.
How true.
maybe some deep throat would help
“a classic case of distortion and confusion”
One word: Benghazi
Correct. Amazing that Woodward would even pretend that a this activist Gov't in Washington isn't "willful". Preposterous.
Woodward's a wimp.
“I do not think it is willful. They are just mixed up, surprisingly so.”
Reality to Woodward, nothing goes on in any negotiation of this importance, or frankly just anything, without the explicit approval of der leader. He called the shots and if not him, one of his chief advisors or the teleprompter. His “plausable denial” is simply not plausable except to a dimwit like you. I wonder Bob, why did you not believe Nixon when he said he was not a crook when you believe this lying POS?
From the guy who edited and supported the fraudulent hoaxer Janet Cooke at WaPo and even nominated her fabricated columns for a Pulitzer. His powers of discernment don't seem to have improved much.
...I do not think it is willful. They are just mixed up, surprisingly so."
If it isn't willful, we have "mixed up" people running the government...surprisingly so.
“We unfortunately have seen this too often in recent presidential history...
Translation....”George Bush’s Fault”.
So Bob, after FOUR YEARS in office this administration
is muddled up? Probably just a mistake eh?
It’s really pathetic to see these knob polishers
get down on their knees all the way to the end.
“...surprisingly so.”
This is key. Another bubble of delusion pops.
You make me glad I read down the thread before posting. I wanted to be the first “Bush’s Fault.” I noticed the choice of words, too. Can’t help themselves, can they? More reliable than the saliva in Pavlov’s dog’s mouth.
