The list of companies that have stopped selling firearms and ammunition to law enforcement agencies in states that are restricting the Second Amendment has more than doubled since Wednesday and is more than five times larger than just one week ago. There are 44 companies on our list, with more being added as we receive notification. Steve Adelmann of Citizen Arms shared the following from his company’s statement, made the day after New York changed its laws:
”Due to legal, ethical and moral concerns, Citizen Arms offers only those custom firearms that are legal for all lawful citizens of a given state to possess, regardless of law enforcement status. LE personnel living in states where citizens must have restrictive features will only receive like product support from Citizen Arms. We’re very appreciative of the sacrifices made by the law enforcement community but we’re even more appreciative of the right guaranteed to all law-abiding US citizens by the Second Amendment to the US Constitution: A well regulated militia, necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed”.

Just sent a very polite email to CZ-USA (CZ is my favorite brand), with a list of the products from them I own, a compliment on their website’s statement supporting the 2nd, and a request to join the reverse-boycott. They list some LEO-only products. No idea how much volume of business it represents, but the longer the list, the more pressure on the “big guns” to join.
I think if everyone contacts their “favorite” firearm brand, let them know how many Rugers (or whatever) you own, and ask them to join in, that can be as persuasive as the threat of a boycott. Not that I mind writing a follow-up nasty-gram, if it comes to that...

Andrew Cuomo and Elizabeth Warren will be running on the 2016 Democrat Presidential ticket. With record sales in other markets, there will be zero impact if all NY sales terminated tomorrow. If the NY State Government along with the SAFE act are not reigned in, this cancer will only spread. (just a small observation: As read, the citizens of NY State should be fully armed “the duty of every man” , not the NY State Government or any Employee that takes a pay check from TAX REVENUE. Right now, it is completely backwards! NY State should be more like Switzerland of 2012 and less like Nazi Germany of 1938.)

If a citizen and Militia member in NY cannot own it, can neither a NY State Government Agency nor

I used to pick up NORINCO ammo when I could get it - importation was banned by daddy Bush and I’m not so sure it still isn’t - some dealers smuggle it in from Canada I think.
It’s some of the best, cleanest, most powerful, reliable and accurate milsurp ammo I have ever used.
Bush banned the importation of Chicom firearms (also NORINCO brand) at the same time. He was no friend of the 2A as far as I can tell, although he was otherwise quite cozy with the Chicoms.
If our Deer Leeder can nationalize GM, why can’t he do the same for S&W, Colt, or any of the other ones if he wants to? If they don’t want to be taken over by the fascists in charge (or nationalized by the communist in charge) they won’t go playing games like shutting off the jackboots who serve the regime.
These dissident suppliers may very well be made examples of in the near future.
If a bakery can be sued out of existence for refusing to bake a wedding cake for a homo couple, or a photographer can be bankrupted for refusing to take pictures of a gay wedding, what makes us think that these gun or accessory producers / retailers are going to get away with such “discrimination” against the government?

Yep, the lion's share of the government contracts go to companies like GT Distributors. Many similar companies aren't even listed as gun dealers - just "public safety suppliers".

He banned rifles, handguns, and ammo but interestingly forgot to ban shotguns. You can still see chicom rip-offs of American shotguns at websites like Gun Broker.
Agreed. I am in the market for a high-powered rifle and have dropped the Remington 700 line out of consideration because they seem to be choosing to stay in New York.

Daddy Bush also signed the law which shut off the supply of newly manufactured full-auto firearms to the general public (with NFA compliance), which has caused the price of full auto capable firearms to rise ridiculously.

Gibson is/was the only non-union guitar shop in the country out of the major brands.

This is just one event along the way, if the administration doesn't back down. Depending on how hard they push, things could take 20 years to come to a head, or more--or a lot less. It took 30 for the last war to get going, from protests in statehouses to the first shot fired in anger.
For now, though, peaceful means are essential. Let the Left continue to get more shrill--they shed moderates as they go.
FYI — The offical sidearm of the New York State Troopers is the Glock 37 (.45 GAP and each patrol car carries a Rem 870 Shotgun (or at least they used to). The NYS SWAT/ESU primarily uses Cold AR-15 and Savage 10.
The official/approved sidearms for the New York City Police Department are Glock, Sig, and S & W. The shotgun of choice is the Mossberg 590 and the SWAT/ESU units use Colt AR-15’s.
New York State — being the police state that it is — has multiple, overlapping law enforcement departments at the Federal, State, and Local Level, each of which has the aurthority to independently procure and issue weapons for their members.
