Fox News political analyst and “Special Report” panelist Juan Williams said in an interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas that mainstream media outlets “stab” and “kill” dissenting voices.
Williams was fired from National Public Radio in 2010 after saying he sometimes gets “nervous” when seated on an airplane with Muslims, while making a broader point about the importance of religious tolerance.
“I always thought it was the Archie Bunkers of the world, the right wingers of world, who were more resistant and more closed-minded about hearing the other side,” he said. “In fact, what I have learned is, in a very painful way — and I can open this shirt and show you the scars and the knife wounds — is that it is big media institutions who are identifiably more liberal to left-leaning who will shut you down, stab you and kill you, fire you, if they perceive that you are not telling the story in the way that they want it told.”

Yeah...there’s not even a pretense of objectivity. They used to (15 years ago) at least run stories that showed Democrats in a bad light...even if the party affiliation was never mentioned. Not anymore.
It’s “get the GOP” all the time now. And it’s not just the “news” programs. The morning shows are operated by Dems and ex-Clinton and Obama appointees. The Talk Shows on Sunday are all stacked against the Republicans. Basic questions of Democratic guests (like...what’s the deal with the 16 trillion dollar debt)are NEVER asked.
The entire “news” operation is set up to get low information voters to support Odumbo.
As long as he shills for the left Williams is defending the status quo.

He had me convinced a few years ago with what happened to him at National People’s Radio. But I’ve been watching what he has been saying for the last two years or so.

Undeniably true. But while I once thought that it was a raw deal, I don’t any longer. Let me explain and I welcome anyone who can prove this wrong to do so....
The GOP has a full compliment of media experts but it does not take an expert to see what the MSM/Libs are doing. Yet in spite of that, the GOP pols continue to knowingly go on these shows, talk to these media outlets. And they know what the end result will be.
Palin proved beyond argument that one person with name recognition can use the net/Facebook/Twitter/YouTube to totally and completely bypass the MSM. Reagan knew that taking his unfiltered message directly to the people was the way to make things happen.
The ‘experts’ in the GOP know this as well. They would have to be totally incompetent to ‘not’ know it because as experts, it is their job to know it. The politicians themselves are not blind to the fact that Palin runs circles around the MSM spin with a Facebook page either. They see that every post she makes gets a full court press from the MSM to craft a narrative that what she said id anything but true.
Now I am only using Palin as an example here because she is the only one doing it, not because I am a fan/supporter...nor do I want to turn this into a flamewar over her. It’s what she does that the GOP completely avoids that is the problem.
If the GOP used the tools in the box, they too could bypass the MSM just as easily. They are big names and they actually hold official office. They have access to the same kind of people that work on her web and media endeavors.
But knowing and having all that knowledge and far more access to $$$$ to make it happen via fundraising and GOP coffers, They don’t. And it’s not just ‘don’t’, they flat refuse to.
Now if anyone can logically explain why that is without coming to the conclusion, supported by the facts on the ground, that the GOP intends to sabotage itself and it’s remaining supporters/move the political pendulum further left in the process, I really want to hear it.
Pre-Watergate the media was ant-conservative but kept it under the radar most of the time. Walter Cronkite throwing in the towel on Vietnam being an example of blatant left wing propaganda coming out. Watergate changed everything. Post Watergate the media became hostile and anti government as long as that government was conservative or republican. They became an open left wing propaganda machine and will NOT touch a democrat regime, actually they will PROTECT it.
Juan, they are “play-acting”. Real soldiers would beat the living crap and take out those Hollywood fags in 2 seconds....
Speak to any former employee of your local paper or TV station. The same dynamic plays out there with local pols/’celebrities’.
The media is and has long been like any other wing of the Dems. Self serving, power hungry and agenda driven. The only way to break the cycle is the Dems have to move right. And you KNOW that ain’t happening.
Media outlets will run themselves bankrupt before giving up the agenda. How is that self serving when many reporters end up unemployed?
1: Most reporters are told and believe it’s for the greater good of liberalism.
2: The owners do not lose personal money. But they gain power for the sacrifice. And are usually promoted to some political position.
And since it’s the shareholders taking the financial hit, no biggie.
I worked in media. That’s the way the game is played.
So, there’s a candle in the wind tunnel between Juan’s ears. May it multiply.

We absolutely have to boycott liberal outlets. We know libs are too dumb to read. NY Slimes and WAPO will have to shut down. I absolutely refuse to watch major network news..and as little local news as I can get away with to check the weather or the sports results.

FOX saved money by hiring him because one Juan equals 25 raving liberals and that means that FOX only pays a single liberal employee, not 25 more.
I am beginning to agree with you...not even GOP politicians could be so stupid. Why do they continue to play the Dem/media game??? As the Dem/media complex sets the agenda, provides the questions and often interprets GOP answers in ways that work to only enhance the Democratic narrative. So, why do they do it?
Last year only Gingrich called out some of the MSM questioners. Why didn’t Romney???
I can only explain it in terms of our one party system...with two wings. It’s as though the Republicans really want the Obama agenda to go through. I became suspicious when Roberts became the fifth vote for Obamacare. Clearly it’s an unconstitutional use of the commerce clause...yet Roberts twisted the government’s argument away from the commerce clause to the taxing power in order to find it constitutional.
It’s as though the fix is in.
I guess that’s why he supported Zero, because of that message of civil discourse and tolerance he represents.
