Campaign speech by ex-Secret Service agent Dan Bognino, running for Senate in Maryland...
I rarely listen to these speeches all the way through. But this speech was well worth the time spent.

This is what I was talking about on another thread. The GOP is simply not doing its job of promoting people like Mr. Bongino. Here we have a biracial man who is well spoken, understands what is at stake, and can articulate it. If the GOP is to have any future and avoid the fate of the Whigs, then it must get rid of the old guard like Karl Rove, who are NOT promoting solid candidates.
And by promote, I mean spend the money on adverts, social media, rallies, ground teams, billboards, radio, tv, etc.
The US media with few exceptions has become state controlled and slavishly slants, distorts or lies at the direction of the White House. With administrative fiat from the FCC talk radio could be ended and there is an open plan to attack, discredit and muzzle Fox News. Free speech is daily challenged with political correctness, "hate speech" prohibitions and derision. The First Amendment is tottering.
The Founding Fathers anticipated that the limited form of government in the Constitution could be corrupted and even usurped by tyrants. Hence the Second Amendment was included in the Bill of Rights to serve as the ultimate safeguard. They knew that an unarmed populous could easily be enslaved by armed tyranny.
If by coercion, regulatory fiat if not outright seizure of arms; the people could be disarmed and free speech and free press could be suppressed it would be possible to shatter the Constitution at will. I believe there are some in this administration who wish to impose a Marxist dictatorship in this country and are using every opportunity to erode the Constitution to achieve that end.
Bump.
The GOP needs to get out of the way.
By that I mean Rove, et al. The GOP has been gutted, and we need it back. All NRA, oppose big government, bring back American business of it.

Great speech. Citizens of Maryland had a choice between this man and one of the most liberal politicians in the Senate, and they chose the lying lib, wasn’t even close. Is it any wonder Rush said he is ashamed of our country. So am I. We are stupid. Our country deserves what’s coming to it.

I wrote the essay and helped to produce the video. It’s an effort to lift the debate from Newtown “small ball” to the big leagues of democide, where these efforts at “reasonable and commonsense” gun control laws always lead to death by the million in the end.
What a great speech. Can you imagine what Dan Bognino would do to Piers Morgan? That’s probably the reason why Dan Bognino will never appear on the Piers Morgan show. Morgan only wants people he thinks he can beat in a debate.
Also, it’s too bad Bognino is from a dark blue state. He would have made a great senator. Maybe he’ll relocate to Virginia ....
Time and again echo the words of some long ago soviet leader who predicted that the soviet union wouldn’t have to invade America. In time, Americans would demand communism. And that number is up to 49% and climbing.
Could this speech be the “call to arms” some are looking for?
