The US has seen 934 people killed in 146 mass shootings since 2006, a USA Today analysis of FBI records has found—a number that represents less than 1% of all gun-related homicides. Few of those shootings were the kind of Newtown-esque massacres you might be imagining, however. The paper was using the FBI's definition of a mass shooting, which is one in which four or more people were killed; in most cases, the gunmen knew their victims.
"Mass shootings … are the tragedies that capture the public's attention," says the director of the Mayors Against Illegal Gun Violence campaign, which reached similar results in its own research. "But every day, 33 Americans are being killed, mostly with handguns and distressingly often, by a family member or intimate partner." Still, mass shootings aren't exactly uncommon either, occurring roughly once every two weeks.
Whereas gun control in Chicago has killed nearly the same number.
We only know of 7 million and odd number persons killed by abortionists in all that time.
Corrected title.
Where as mass abortions have only killed 7,200,000 in the sane time period.
Some more interesting numbers:
In Baltimore-91% of their cities shooters had criminal records, and 80% of the shooting victims.
Its mostly criminals killing each other. The “children” being killed are mostly 17 year old armed drug thugs.
Why doesn’t big old government and its Hollywood toadies start a campaign:
NAMELESS COWARDS murder innocent people.
And then tell brief bios of some of the dead.
Enough PSA’s and being a “nameless coward” would soon be unappealing.
And every year, 3 - 4 million law biding Americans use a firearm to protect themselves, their family, and/or their property from the criminal element.
Its more about our culture than guns!
Its all about acting on our emotions than logic.
The moral compass is less predominant in today’s society.
In fact it’s ridiculed.
Everything is out of proportion and emotions rule the day.
That’s nothing. Our abortion industry can do twice that before lunch.
934 in 7 years.
How many have died by slipping in their bathtubs in that time?
Over 540,000 slip-fall injuries, requiring hospital care, occur in North America each year. The next victim could be you.
Slip and fall accidents account for over 300,000 disabling injuries per year in North America. One in three serious bone breaks for seniors result in death, within one year of the accident.
Slips and falls account for over 20,000 fatalities per year in North America-i.e. 55 persons per day. It is the second leading cause of death and disability after automobile accidents. Slips and falls kill more workers than all other combined forms of the workplace.
Over the same period, Police killed over 2,800 people, Knives, blunt objects and other killed over 21,000 people and over 3,600 murders involve drug laws. WSJ Database.

Actually, more persons die at the hands of the abortionists than from all of those other causes.
Whereas gun control in Chicago has killed nearly the same number.
If only. Rahm-ville had 730 murders on the books - FOR JUST LAST YEAR ALONE.
Dihydrogen Monoxide kills more than that every year and you don’t hear the media making a fuss about that.
What amazes me is that its ONLY 934 mass murders.
There are millions of crazy brain damaged people out there. Its a wonder there are more killings every day.
But still - we must ban the evil guns. /sarc
Here is a new thread featuring a new essay and YouTube video titled “Democide: Socialism, Tyranny, Guns and Freedom.” The video has had 12,000 views in the first two days. I helped to produce the video. It’s an effort to lift the debate from Newtown “small ball” to the big leagues of state democide, where these efforts at “reasonable and commonsense” gun control laws always lead to death by the million in the end.

At least 180,000 have died from the flu.
