CNN along with all of Turner Broadcasting Turner sold to Time Warner. He kept the Braves and I believe Omni Center too. No one tells Ted Turner what to think.
The Braves (and Turner Field) were part of the package and were owned by Time Warner until they were sold to Liberty Media in 1996.
Sorry, I meant to say they were part of the package bought by Time Warner in 1996. They were sold to Liberty Media in 2007.
