The UAW president (Bob King) is trying to rewrite history by blaming their prop 2 power grab attempt on RTW in Michigan despite the fact its exactly opposite. (They’re also blaming Dick DeVos and the Koch brothers.)

The UAW president (Bob King) is trying to rewrite history by blaming their prop 2 power grab attempt on RTW in Michigan despite the fact its exactly opposite. (They’re also blaming Dick DeVos and the Koch brothers.)

Trasposing "cause" and "effect" has become a standard tactic of liberals, especially when they are losing the argument and haven't got a leg to stand on.

I wish I had a complete list of cases in which they've done this.

One I recall for sure is this: "New York State continues to build new prisons even though crime is down." There's a New York Times reporter (Nicholas Kristoff, maybe?) who trots this editorial position out every year or so, disguising it as a news story.

The fact that putting more people in prison is resulting in a dimunition of crime is too painful for his little brain to contemplate, so he switches cause and effect and makes it sound like an irrational policy undertaken by a society gone mad.
