The UAW president (Bob King) is trying to rewrite history by blaming their prop 2 power grab attempt on RTW in Michigan despite the fact its exactly opposite. (Theyre also blaming Dick DeVos and the Koch brothers.)
Trasposing "cause" and "effect" has become a standard tactic of liberals, especially when they are losing the argument and haven't got a leg to stand on.
I wish I had a complete list of cases in which they've done this.
One I recall for sure is this: "New York State continues to build new prisons even though crime is down." There's a New York Times reporter (Nicholas Kristoff, maybe?) who trots this editorial position out every year or so, disguising it as a news story.
The fact that putting more people in prison is resulting in a dimunition of crime is too painful for his little brain to contemplate, so he switches cause and effect and makes it sound like an irrational policy undertaken by a society gone mad.
Its kind of like claiming “white flight” wrecked Detroit when the reality is that the wrecking of Detroit drove the flight.
