Why does 96% of our best news and opinion come from a country that hates us and is quickly becoming a Caliphate mixed with a 1984 scenario? What then?

False premise that O is the leader of the free world. Can’t get past that.

Obama is a sociopath. He's not a hands-on killer (yet), but his behavior shows all the signs of lacking a conscience.

His sociopathy appears on observation to either be linked to (or just fits seamlessly with) his hatred of America and those of European ancestry.

He doesn't just hate the truth, he likes flaunting his dishonesty. It's one of his many ways of sticking it to the man (i.e. Whitey).

The UK is infested even more than the US with socialists. The UK Telegraph should start its education of the public about socialism and the triumph of ideology over facts, logic and truth and it could start with the truth about Fabian Socialists, the particularly vile form of socialist found in the elites of the UK.

Obama lies because that is how the mind of a liberal (er, now “progressive”) works. The lie is formed to support and advance the ideological agenda. They first lie to themselves, they lie to their friends and they lie to their family. In fact, they are enemies of the truth whenever the truth impedes the greater agenda.

This is the exact pathology of the Obama lies. In the Progressive World, truth is malleable and plastic. Truth is molded by ideology. Truth is whatever it needs to be at the moment.

Ironic that the only newspaper that does not immediately put kneepads on its staff at the mere mention of the annointed one’s name is in the socialistic UK.

Any person with open eyes knows this has nothign to do with climate, but is all about the draconian control of industry, energy production and ultimately, individuals.

To call Hussein a leader of the free world is as wrong as is to call the US a free country, especially after what he has done to it.

It is doubly tragic that while conservatives in and out of the U.S. can see the destruction being wrought by the Obama presidency and his penchant for arrogantly delivered mendacity whenever he speaks but most Americans just see The First Black President. The symbol. While they may not like where the nation seems to going they very much want to give The First Black President every benefit of the doubt, blame others - mostly Republicans - for his failures and pretend that he is actually doing a good job. This kind of subtle patronizing of Obama by guilty whites, Latinos and 99.8% of black voters is well understood by Obama, Axlerod, Jarrett and the cadre that advises the president. The result is the sometimes near criticism-free Obama administration that is wrecking our economy and much more.

Some words of advice are so apt that they may be applied to all situations, in all places, and in any Century. Note the following excerpt from Thomas Jefferson's letter to young Peter Carr. Sadly, it seems, the advice has not been passed on and/or accepted by some prominent recent and current political leaders in America.

"Nothing is so mistaken as the supposition, that a person is to extricate himself from a difficulty, by intrigue, by chicanery, by dissimulation, by trimming, by an untruth, by an injustice. This increases the difficulties ten fold; and those who pursue these methods, get themselves so involved at length, that they can turn no way but their infamy becomes more exposed. It is of great importance to set a resolution, not to be shaken, never to tell an untruth. There is no vice so mean, so pitiful, so contemptible; and he who permits himself to tell a lie once, finds it much easier to do it a second and third time, till at length it becomes habitual; he tells lies without attending to it, and truths without the world’s believing him. This falsehood of the tongue leads to that of the heart, and in time depraves all its good dispositions." - See "Letter to Peter Carr, August 19, 1785," in Thomas Jefferson: Writings (New York: The Library of America, 1984), pp. 814-815.

If the leader of the free world can lie with such impunity we are doomed

Oh, please!! Anyone who thinks politicians don't lie is either an idiot or a leftist.

There is no "leader of the free world." There is lots of free world (admittedly shrinking each day) but there is not a single leader. Hasn't been for some time.
