Good letter; best summarized by General McAuliffe: “Nuts”.

Thanks Swamper. I see that money line about the 1 + million “assault-type” weapons in private hands. The thought of trying to confiscate those weapons seems to be sending a tingle down the legs (and up the back) of many LEO policy makers.

Wow! That really laid the politicians out as the petty tyrants they are. He needs to go the step further and state the their Association will refuse to enforce those laws.

The big city politicians really don’t have a clue what they’re stirring up.

Do you have a scroll wheel on your mouse? Hold down ‘Ctrl’ and scroll the wheel forward. Viola! the print gets bigger.

OCR, anyone? --
I see a text-only version at the link below. I have no affiliation, just found it searching for a plain-text version of the letter. Looks faithful to the original, at a glance.
I wonder where the Saratoga PBA's 105 members were when the state made it a felony to possess a magazine with a capacity of over 10 rounds. Crickets, I think. Speaking up now because THEIR ox is being gored.

I can read it, got my new bionic eyes! If I make them bigger they mess up web pages. If you click and save them you can blow them up on your computer.

Fact is those legislators who voted for this bill don’t gave a damn about what the public wants.
They have their agenda and that is it.
Maryland is now doing the same thing. Maryland had 4,000 people at the state house last week objecting to a gun bill and they are shoving it through at super speed.
I guess they will not be happy until they piss us off bad enough to fight.

Gotta go buy a magnifying glass.
In many (not all) browsers, you hold down the CTRL key and press the plus (+) key until it is big enough to read.

This is good. There are actually people in NY that understand the meaning of freedom and what’s wrong with the country at least their part of the country.

Great post. Other sheriffs associations will hopefully follow up with more of the same.
