Making progress!!

Lagging a bit behind the pace from last quarter, but we're getting there. Please keep those donations coming in, folks, so we can end this thing soon. If we can raise a minimum of $10k per week, we can be done within the next two weeks.

We can do this!!

FR is funded solely by contributions made by like-minded liberty loving patriots who enjoy and use it and think it's a worthwhile endeavor to support.

We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak plainly in defense of our God-given Liberty, free of any outside influences.

Free Republic stands for God and Country!! We defend Life, Family, Constitution, Liberty!! And we defend our God-given, constitutionally guaranteed right to keep and bear arms!! TO THE HILT!!

We are beholden to no political party, no sugar daddies, no advertisers, no corporate string pullers, no outsiders. We do not depend on government grants or tax payer subsidies. It's just us, baby, and we need each other. Now more than ever!!

But we cannot do it without your continuing support.

If you have not yet made your donation this quarter, today would be an excellent day to do so.

Every donation counts no matter how big or small. If you can donate $5, $10, $20 or more, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible and your continuing participation makes FR the leading INDEPENDENT pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense, pro-gun, pro-borders grassroots conservative forum on the Net!!

And we're going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists, fascists, progressives, collectivists and assorted totalitarians of every stripe who have infested our government and public institutions and who are dead set on destroying the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given Liberty!!

The only thing standing between us and totalitarian domination is our constitution... and our guns!! Never, ever give up your guns!!

"Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction." --Ronald Reagan

Our generation will not be the one that sees freedom extinguished in America.

NOT ON MY WATCH!!

Never surrender!! Never retreat!! Never give up your guns!!

Click the link above to donate via secure server or by mail to: Free Republic, LLC - PO Box 9771 - Fresno, CA 93794

Monthly Challenge:

Make it a monthly if you can. We currently have some very generous FReeper sponsors contributing an extra ten dollars for each new monthly signed up, so here's a chance to get a little extra bang for your buck!!

I_be_tc's newest "300" challenge:

FReeper I_be_tc donated $75 and challenged 300 others to match. If 300 FReepers follow through, this FReepathon would be over very quickly!! Woo hoo!! Thank you very much, I_be_tc!!

Thank you all very much!!

Your loyal support is greatly appreciated!!

God bless you and God bless America!!

Felt like 6 or 7” when I went out and got my feet wet.

There’s a breeze. It’s coming in gusts; could be 30 mph tops. What was 50s and bare yesterday is below freezing and snow covered today.

Finally reading your message and laughing...Some of those outfits are really “eye catching”.

I have 3 daughters and believe me they never would have left the house in those get-ups! That was 30 years ago! LOL

You sometimes get much more snow than we do. Are you near the coast? I was shocked at how badly some of the coast and cape were hit during the last storm.

We’re doing OK. Low 30s and windy, but no snow. Coming back home from North Carolina yesterday, I saw pretty white blankets on the mountainsides along I-40. Was pretty majestic looking.

***************************

That doesn't sound too bad. It was 17 degrees when I came downstairs this morning, which isn't terrible. We've had a number of nights below zero this winter, which is when it's not only cold, it's deadly cold.

I love long distance driving. North Carolina to Tennessee must be so beautiful.

Southeast MA, I use Rt 24 to get to Boston and shore dwellers use Rt 3.

Sometimes we get shore winds and weather.

This year’s jet stream is providing us all the snow. Over all there’s usually less snowfall. It’s ass backwards this season.

It was good to see Mom (and some more family that lives there). We ate out (Chinese) and I kept waiting for "Fa ra ra ra ra, ra ra ra ra". LOL

Mom is just a real sweetheart, and always has been. Adversity is just something she pushes aside. I was really blessed with the set of parents God gave me. Miss my Dad a bunch, will always look up to him.

North Carolina to Tennessee must be so beautiful.

I've only hit about a third of the 57 states, but I really love the beauty and variety of Tennessee and North Carolina. Think about it, they encompass going from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mississippi River. That covers a lot of ground!
