Perhaps you just have a very bad sense of humor. Considering the “anti-scientific/the government is always wrong” tenor on this site at times...it is very difficult to tell the difference between those who get it...and those who don’t.

Why? Because stingy Republicans won’t spend the money for meteor free zones and are standing in the way of Obama’s meteor security plan.
I’ve read a little about ST. Hildegard in the year or two. I’ve wondered about this particular prophecy. It’s obvious to me that the great nation in the ocean would probably refer to the USA. I wonder who the eastern colonies are? The original 13 colonies? US Territories like Puerto Rico and the VI? Maybe close allies like our European Nato allies? And who are the Tiger and the Lion?

Obviously we control the asteroid passing by today, but the meteor must’ve been a North Korean attempt to steal the show. Signs point to an inevitable Meteor Gap!

Obama has his big push coming on nuclear disarmament and this will be used to push that agenda. The meme will be that we must disarm, because with meteors falling from the sky, an accidental nuclear exchange could happen. Watch for it...you heard it here first...lol. I am not joking. Like Limbaugh, I know these people like the back of my hand...lol.
Just speculating but it might be possible it was or has been breaking up and or was possibly impacted by another object or debris as it proceeded thought the solar system or on it's approach to earth orbit and these pieces went undetected.
If this were the case, the change in trajectory for some on the pieces or debris field would be dramatically different or altered.
