Guns And Ammo Production Maxed Out: This Is A Society Preparing For War
Mac Slavo
February 14th, 2013
President Barack Obama is, arguably, the best gun salesman ever. Over 65 million guns have been purchased since the President took office in 2009. FBI background check statistics indicate that, over the last twelve months, Americans purchased a new gun every 1.5 seconds, a figure which suggests there is much more to the recent panic buying than people just stocking up to go hunting or sports shooting.
The following guns and ammo industry report indicates that every major gun and ammunition manufacturer in the country is running at 100% capacity, with many so far behind that theyve stopped taking new orders altogether.
Smith & Wesson-is running at Full capacity making 300+ guns/day-mainly M&P pistols. They are unable to produce any more guns to help with the shortages.
RUGER: Plans to increase from 75% to 100% in the next 90 days.
FNH: Moving from 50% production to 75% by Feb 1st and 100% by March 1. Remington-Maxed out!
Armalite: Maxed out.
DPMS: Cant get enough parts to produce any more product.
COLT: Production runs increasing weekly bottle necked by Bolt carriers.
LWRC:Making only black guns, running at full capacity cant get enough gun quality steel to make barrels.
Springfield Armory: Only company who can meet demand but are running 30-45 days behind.
AMMO: Every caliber is now Allocated! We are looking at a nation wide shortage of all calibers over the next 9 months. All plants are producing as much ammo as possible w/ of 1 BILLION rounds produced weekly. Most is military followed by L.E. and civilians are third in line.
MAGPUL is behind 1 MILLION mags, do not expect any large quantities of magpul anytime soon.
RELOADERS ALL Remington, Winchester, CCI & Federal primers are going to ammo FIRST. There are no extras for reloading purposes it could be 6-9 months before things get caught up. Sorry for the bleak news, but now we know what to expect in the coming months. Stay tuned, well keep you posted
Many who have exercised their Second Amendment protections are first time buyers concerned with Federal and State gun grabs being spearheaded by politicians who are using the Sandy Hook school shooting as a pretext to restrict access to personal defense rifles, larger capacity magazines, and even ammunition.
But this may only be a part of why theres so much demand. There are millions of Americans who are genuinely concerned with not just the government taking their guns, but all of their other Constitutionally protected freedoms as well.
We understand what happens in regimes that disarm their people. Weve seen the democide of the last century, which left hundreds of millions of people dead or displaced when their governments turned on them.
We are determined to prevent it from happening in the land of the free.
Manufacturers were running full-bore, but couldnt come close to keeping up with market demand.
It wasnt just the AR-15s, the AK-pattern rifles, the M1As, and the FALs that were sold out. It really hit me when I realized that the World War-era M1 Garands, M1 carbines, and Enfield .303s were gone, along with every last shell. Ubiquitous Mosin-Nagantsof which every gun store always seems to have 10-20were gone. So was their ammo. Only a dust free space marked their passing. Ive never seen anything like it.
Every weapon of military utility designed within the past 100+ years was gone.
This isnt a society stocking up on certain guns because they fear they may be banned. This is a society preparing for war.

With over 300 million firearms in America in the hands of private citizens, the people are sending a loud and clear message to their government.
Back off. Stop encroaching on our personal liberties. Limit yourself to your Constitutionally granted powers and nothing more.
Youre not the only ones that are armed.
“With over 300 million firearms in America in the hands of private citizens, the people are sending a loud and clear message to their government”
They are not listening which is the most dangerous part of it all.
True enough. They’d have a brief sense of impact, though.

You could be 100% totally in the right simply defending yourself buy the time the news media is done smearing you you will be no better then some no good street criminal and the police will exercise extreme prejudice on you same as Dorner, the Branch Dividians and Ruby Ridge. I have never seen so many trigger happy cops as the video of the Dorner shootout. What the hell were they shooting at? did they have a clear view of the target or were they just getting some full auto trigger time??
The ammo bubble will eventually pop and that my friend is when I am going to buy some.
We are a chummy bunch, no doubt...
Not like those “up north”.
Natch, my sister went & married one of THEM, and lives there to this day. At least he’s a 2A conservative & they’re in the Hillsdale area...
But still...Wolverines...UGH
Response: Agreed if you mean Social War.(Some call it Civil War.)
Comment: The only problem being the left is more highly prepared, better leaders, has access to better equipment, has access to better propaganda promulgation; better organized, and an overall higher intelligence. As of the next five years the left would wipe the conservatives off the face of the earth. For conservatives to prevail much work has to be done.
Agreed.
My two (rep and senator) stated they'd both be voting against the original bill as presented, however, it appears my rep has voted for this latest version. It goes to the senate next, and I will be reminding my senator about his statement to me.
As for my rep, I will be reminding him of his prior position shortly.
That is the real problem; I have enough ammo for any real need, but I'm not going to burn it up at the range anymore.
Missouri? Really?

Good luck!
A few hundred IRA members with armalites tied down the English army for decades.
And most ranges won’t let you pick up your brass either.
One of the reasons I chose a Beretta 92 9mm was that I thought if ammo ever became in short supply, 9mm would be one of the last calibers to become short in supply and somewhat affordable.
15 years later, this has come to fruition and while the cost of 9mm ammunition has at least doubled, it can still be found. Most of the high prices are dealers and sellers gouging gun owners. Shame on them.
I use the cheap stuff at the range (Wolf, S&B) and have about 250-300 rounds of it on hand.
I also have 100 Rounds of Hyra-Shok ammunition and another 100 Rounds of Cor-Bon ammunition which is saved for when the Defecation hits the Oscillation and was purchased several months before Obama was re-elected at normal pricing.
At this point, I’m going to hold off on buying more as the prices are way too high.
I have a variety of rounds from birdshot to buckshot for my Mossy 500, probably about 75 total.
If anything, I will stock up on some 12 Gauge when the next Gun Show rolls into town.
A good every day carry knife should be on everyone’s list as well.
I have a good quality but inexpensive and Kalifornia legal Pazoda CRKT folding knife with the combination straight/ serrated edge. It has a pocket clip and I always carry it when I go out since I can’t carry a firearm in Kalifornia.
After breaking it in and with the help of some WD-40, I can actually open it with a flick of the wrist and without using the thumb-hole assist.
I’ve never been a knife guy, but I’ve become fond of this little knife and found out the hard way that it has the potential to do some serious damage.
There is a simpler explanation for all of the gun/ammo sales than the dramatic “going to war” scenario.
First, this is the economy being stimulated in one of the ways easily available at the moment. Food, energy, entertainment, guns, etc., all fall under the heading of “consumer spending”, the single biggest component of the US economy. This component needs to keep moving, and it is, through fear.
Secondly, the government is not concerned about “going to war” with this population, at least half of which are willing livestock already. Between large-scale data mining of social media websites, comments sections of news articles, public forums, medical records, and other readily available financial data, the government has all the information they need to win a “war” without ever firing a shot. They know names, IP/MAC and real addresses, employers, bank accounts, friends and associates, etc., etc., and can shut down anyone they want with nothing but paperwork. 99% of gun owners will turn in their guns the day their ATM card stops working. The other 1% will get mopped up Dorner-style.
We are “free” only so far as we delude ourselves.
“99% of gun owners will turn in their guns the day their ATM card stops working.”
I disagree and think that most gun owners would be more determined to keep their guns once their ATM card stops working.
If that day comes, guns will be worth more than their weight in gold.
I wish in the short term Armalite would focus their employees on loading trucks so they can move the hell out of Illinois.
