Except that Congress wasn’t shooting at him when he said it.

At the time they deployed the pyro, he hadn’t fired on them in hours. I was listening to some of the web scanners the folks over at ARFCOM had up.

Dorner wasn’t going anywhere. They burned him out rather than wait him out. On purpose.

"Dorner needed to die. He needed to spend some time on death row and then an ignominious end by lethal injection."

Does CA have the death penalty?

Yes. As of the 2012 numbers, they had 725 inmates on Death Row.

>> What difference does it make if he was shot or roasted?<<

It’s called the rule of law. Without it this country is dead.

Police use this kind of force on killers - but I doubt a hundred police officers are going to burn down the homes of honest citizens because they own guns. Think about it. Police officers are relatives, fellow citizens and members of the community.

When Obama and that type try to take away citizens guns they'll bring in foreign nationals or members of a trained 'private army'.

Iran had the same problem some years back when they wanted to stomp on student protesters. The everyday Iranian police were connected, related etc to those kids... They weren't willing to do what the elites wanted. Elite thugs running Iran had to bring in outsiders - goons from the country-side and other countries to rough up hometown students. Elite sh*ts of all cultures have things in common...ours and theirs. And so do good people. Few - very few people from your local police department are going to burn out their neighbors and friends for owning guns. It's not going to happen.

The tanks in Tianamen Square were being driven by crews from remote provinces, the dialect they spoke was such that they could barely understand what the protesters were saying to them.

I expect white northern rural residents will have their houses raided by southern urban blacks, and vice versa.

Bullet Proof barricades that will stop a .50cal. Yeah they have a boatload of those in the trunk of the car.

Maybe they should have sent MechaGodzilla after him. Bullets don’t faze him. Or maybe they could have used the Cruciatus Curse from Harry Potter.

Once again, please post a link to a federal, state or local law that prohibited the use of lethal force when the perp was armed and had used lethal force already against the officers on the scene.

No one has yet.

LOL Dorner could have spent every cartridge he had if the LEO just waited him out behind cover. Rule of law is rule of law. Allow LE to ignore it and the citizens of this country will lose rights.

Not saying innocents couldn't have been killed by him in the future

Have you lost your mind. Every person he shot was completely innocent of anything. None of them had any connection to him. The only attenuated connection 2 of them had was that they were the daughter and future son-in-law of a police captain who had REPRESENTED Dorner when the LAPD was trying to fire him. The captain was trying to help Dorner so Dorner subsequently returned the favor by killing his daughter and then calling him up to taunt him.

The 2 police officers he killed had nothing to do with the LAPD. They were just doing their job. Jeremiah Mackay had a wife, a 7 year old daughter and a 4 month old son. Michael Crain was a Marine Corps veteran and had a wife, a 10-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. Do you consider either of these men to be anything other than utterly innocent of anything related to Dorner?

The defense of Dorner on this board is sickening and something I never thought I would see. Shame on you.

I’ll bet you are pro 2nd amendment also aren’t you. What for? Defend yourself? Against what? Some LEO that says you’ve broken the law? Should we just stand down if they come after you?

The 2nd amendment tells me I can have those weapons to defend mtyself from foreign AND domestic if they aren't following the rule of law.

What are they supposed to do? Let him escape to a designated cabin where they have permission from the owner to burn it down in the ensuing firefight?

They knew he was injured. How you ask? They pried open the front door, looked in and saw blood spatter in the opposite corner.

At that point they could have safely let him bleed out.

At that point they decided that they needed to burn the cabin down RIGHT FRICKIN' NOW!

Are you saying Dorner was justified in killing the police? If not, what is your argument?
