In an interview this morning, Marco Rubio hardly the establishment favorite in his own Senate race defended Karl Roves Conservative Victory Project, which has angered many tea partiers.
Noting that Rove had helped him during a crucial time in his Senate race, Rubio said that both the Tea Party and the Conservative Victory Project have a place in American politics.

Marco, I hardly knew ye!
Yep.
Well there is still Rubio. I am sure others will reveal themselves soon enough.
Rubio is entirely a Bush property. Look at his advancement of amnesty and don’t be fooled.
In the News/Activism forum, on a thread titled Rubio: Roves Conservative Victory Project Is ‘Fine’, mosesdapoet wrote:
I believe I overheard Ann Coulter on the Hannity radio show 2/13/say that Rubio was born in Calgary Canada.
I wrote that and that’s wrong she was talking about Sen Cruz from Texas
Shows you how much these comments are read or paid attention to. Sometimes I think FR’s is the twitter machine of the “right” loaded with inane or vapid two sentence contributions loaded with gramatical errors . Time was when candidates or their staffers would review these postings for insight.
Not so much anymore. I don’t know what the problem is. Part might be I suggest may be the quick cycle which doesn’t allow much time for thoughtfull response and proper construction of composition. .
So, you guys think it uncommon that a person considering running for President, would not critique one of the biggest Republican fundraisers?
I have some pink unicorns you may want to milk for strawberry milk.
Grow up.
Yea, who cares if he’s co-signing a plan to destroy conservative / tea party candidates in order to move the party to the left. He’ll need the money from a guy who had a 1% success rate in 2012.
Rubio is no conservative!
Rubio didn’t co-sign a plan.
Paul Ryan was asked about Rove and did the same thing. If you’re a politician you don’t throw money away.
Any person saying Rubio isn’t conservative doesn’t understand politics. Offer up your candidates, I’m sure they don’t pass somebody else’s litmus test.
“Any person saying Rubio isnt conservative doesnt understand politics.”
I’ve always wanted to meet the High Priest of Conservative Politics, even the self-awarded variety.
Please educate us lesser mortals. There must be something I’ve missed in 37 years of studying the subject. And you’re just the one to explain it.
If you’re looking for a High Preist, look no further than the mirror, since you believe Rubio is part of the Jeb Bush machine.
You may have missed the part where both Rubio and Jeb have both hinted at running for President.
Who do you support?
“You may have missed the part where both Rubio and Jeb have both hinted at running for President.”
I understand that logic may not be your strong suit so I’ll help you work that out. Jeb expressing a desire to run for President doesn’t mean that Rubio isn’t a member of his clique. The two propositions are not contradictory. Both can be true at the same time. Does that help?
“Who do you support?”
It’s too early to tell. But if anything resembling amnesty gets passed it won’t be a Republican.
I watched SoCal be transformed before my eyes and I have nothing but contempt for politicians who reward foreign nationals who break immigration law.

Ive always wanted to meet the High Priest of Logic... even the self-awarded variety.
Well, I don’t doubt your ability to master basic logic. And I won’t mock you for thinking that both Politics and Logic are compatible.
