It’s been a pretty common practice among law enforcement, especially federal law enforcement, that you will not be “captured” if you have killed one of theirs, you will be killed. This is why they opened fire on those two trucks that WEREN’T Dorner’s. And why they burned the Branch Davidian compound to the ground in Waco.
