Your pastor is correct. I need to stop judging him. I already know what camp he’s in. It’s a tough choice. Risking casting pearls before swine or just continuing to afford grace knowing in some ways I also am a wretched sinner in nature.

First you say you are not advocating it, and then you go on to give reason for it. We just disagree. Phrases like “politically smart” in my mind are just excuses people give for lowering their principles.
I have no problem teaching English to people that want to come here. I just find it absurd to conduct any government business in a foreign language.
To vote in this country you must be a citizen. To be a citizen you must speak our nation’s language.
In my opinion there is absolutely no need or justification for any government form to be in any language other then English. No exceptions.
Advertisers and other folks can do whatever they want in any language. I just feel that government business, including elections and politics, should never be in any language other than the language our voting citizens must speak.
Maybe Baraq can multi-task and do both jobs?

Simply incredible. Did he just use the words “transparent” and “checks and balances”.. Wow, let’s apply that to Benghazi, His lack of transparency with Libya, Syria, Egypt. He has used every loop hole possible to avoid checks and balances. This is coming from someone who will use EO’s to avoid both of these.
I'm not sure what found so egregious in my totally honest response which I made with all candor and in the spirit of Conservative FRiendship. I'd like to think that our differences involving language, culture and the emblems of same are only in the margins. On the fundamental principles of Christianity and Conservatism, I'm sure we have much in common.
I'll also add that a forum such as this on the internet is often an inadequate venue for neither of us can see the other's body language and other visual cues. Since we don't know each other minds, backgrounds or other elements that comprise the whole of our being, there are things lost in this form of communication. So, I'll just wish you a good evening and express my pleasure in being able to chat amicably with you tonight. May God Bless you and what I presume is our equally beloved state of Texas.
