Illegal immigrants are rumored to be at the top of the guest list for the State of the Union tonight. One illegal immigrant is even reportedly being escorted by the First Lady herself.
In addition to Apple CEO Tim Cook, Michelle Obama has invited 20-year-old Alan Aleman, an illegal immigrant from Nevada who hasn’t been deported because he came to the United States before he was 16 and is therefore protected under the Obama administration’s new deportation rules.
And so far, four other Democrats have revealed they are bringing an illegal immigrant as their dates, too.
Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) is taking Ambar Pinto, a Northern Virginia Community College student and a 19-year-old illegal immigrant.
Rep. Marc Veasey (D-Texas) is bringing along Julieta Gariby (32) who has been in the United States since her family moved from Mexico when she was 12.
Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez (D-Ill.) invited Gabino Sanchez, a 27-year-old illegal immigrant living in South Carolina, and Rep. Kathy Castor (D-Fla.) is taking Jose Godinez-Samperio, an illegal immigrant who wants to practice law some day.
These aren’t the only members of Congress making a bold statement with their SOTU guests. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is bringing a fourth-grade girl from Newtown, Conn. And just to spice it up, Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Tex.) is taking Ted Nugent, musicians and gun advocate extraordinaire.
Guess the old take-your-husband or wife thing is out this year.
Well, that Dorner guy apparently loves Obama so I wonder what the over/under is on him giving up early so he doesn't interrupt the SOTU address.
Arrest the illegal alien for being here illegally and arrest Michelle “Big Moo” Obama for aiding and abetting a criminal.
But alas..........not the case.
I hope they curb them before they bring’em inside.
And, keep them on their leashes.
If Boner had a spine, he could get the Sgt at Arms to remove them and hold them for Immigration. The the pres could release them.
WTF are we normal people even bothering to obey all the laws?
Don’t call them “illegal aliens”, because the expression has been weakened by overuse. But don’t fall for the leftist trick of calling them “undocumented immigrants”, either.
Instead, call them “Mexican citizens”.
That slams the door shut, tight, against their living here. It says that they *are not* immigrants, but people who *should* live in another country, *their* country.
No matter *what* they do in *our* country, they are, and remain, “Mexican citizens.”
