I see a problem here in the ranks of our young. When the young left libtards are confronted by an older white guy we are dismissed as not with it, racist, bitter clingers, and/or behind the time etc... The young on our side need to be our voice. There are some out there but most are mute not wanting to be castigated within their circles. I see some here in the office that choose silence as not to rock the boat and be labeled an instigator. I hope this silence is not predicated on wanting to be accepted and part of that social group, but I fear it is and the desire to be included in the “social party” overrides the need to speak truth. They always say things like I want to keep my professional life apart from my personal life. I agree in point, but when confronted with lies and stupidity one must speak to combat these morons.
My wife gets frustrated with me because I will speak up in the office when I feel necessary but at the same time I avoid outside of work social interactions. She says I will never advance doing that becuase I don’t try and fit in and she is probably right, but I in good conscience cannot socialize with these cretins outside of the office they turn my stomach. Besides none of these pu—ies hunt, fish, love baseball, or play golf. They all play ping pong, skateboard, video games, watch youtube videos all hours, praise foreign cultures, post on fb and listen to crappy music. All things I do not do.
your wife and mine sounds hte same, she has said so manhy times that I have to be more quiet, that I should not be as loud or as speaking up as much.
I am so fed up of going places only to hear a left wing nut [which they are a very small minority in my county] speak up ..
For instance once a year a guy we know has a couple of acres and a log cabin, a very nice house I might add.
Now every year about 150 of friends get together at his house , bring our own food and dish for others to eat, bring our own drinks and we throw are old Christmas trees on the fire.
I was telling a woman who works at the green grocers about this and she was saying how cool but a woman came in from NY and said how dusgusting, thta the snoke will ruin the air bla bla.
Right away I spoke up, my knew as asoon as she heard this woman I would say something and I also told her that she should go back north if she does not like people having fires in their yards, shooting, hunting or fishing etc.
Shw walked out frowning.
Another woman from MA moved down here and started to complain about confederate flags, shooting, hunting, no diversity, as my county is very white and Christian,even moaning about kids wearing camo clothing.
She moaned about no homosexuals and how we thought marriage was between a 1 man and a 1 woman , thankfully she moved back north but why should she come here and then want this state to look like the cess pit she moved from.
All of us have to speak up to the people we know and though I have kids , my oldest 15 he does speak up , even my youngest at school heard another boy saying proudly how he gets free lunch and breakfast to which my youngest told him that it was not fre and that his father , i.e. me pays for his food.
You are right , we need younger folks speaking up and we need to educate that their term progressive means moving forward which has hurt this country, marriage is less, out of wedlock is less, fodo stamps more, crime, wife beating, suicides on younger kids today because of how parents, some parents think it;s OK for little johnny to wear a skirt or make up and tell them it;s alright to be different
