Parody or Does She Believe It? CNN Anchor Blames Asteroid on Global Warming By Brent Baker Created 02/09/2013 - 5:41pm
CNN anchor Deb Feyerick asked Saturday afternoon if an approaching asteroid, which will pass by Earth on February 15, “is an example of, perhaps, global warming?”
Moments earlier, before an ad break, she segued from the Northeast blizzard to a segment with Bill Nye “the science guy,” by pointing to global warming: “Every time we see a storm like this lately, the first question to pop into a lot of people’s minds is whether or not global warming is to blame? I’ll talk to Bill Nye, ‘the science guy,’ about devastating storms and climate change.”

She never got to that question in the subsequent interview at about 3:25 PM EST during CNN Newsoom, instead transitioning from a snowfall update: “Talk about something else that’s falling from the sky and that is an asteroid. What’s coming our way? Is this an effect of, perhaps, of global warming or is this just some meteoric occasion?”
Nye resisted confirming her hypothesis.
She was obviously hired for her face, not her brains.
Here’s how it works. Earth gets warmer causing air in heads to expand, putting pressure on what remains of brains, causing air to rush out through mouth.
First question pops into my mind is how do these losers keep their jobs?
First question you have to ask yourself is she really so stupid that she actually believes global warming causes asteroids to hit the earth. It’s possible she is that stupid, but I don’t believe it. I think it was a deliberate attempt to plant the seed in peoples minds (especially young kids) that global warming really does cause asteroids to hit the earth. Scaremongering. They claim global warming is responsible for absolutely everything,,,so why not asteroid impacts? And just a few weeks ago a CNN meteorologist claimed the Arctic is ice free right now.

Are there really people who are not familiar with the words “orbit” and “gravity”, and do they not know how those two things affect the movement of objects in space? I’m not an astronomer, or an astrophysicist, but that seems like a no-brainer...
And that's just the point, isn't it? Nye is a liberal propagandist, not a real scientist, although he plays one on TV and fools millions of people. Your comment about the new Dark Age is correct and on point.
