Parody or Does She Believe It? CNN Anchor Blames Asteroid on Global Warming By Brent Baker Created 02/09/2013 - 5:41pm
CNN anchor Deb Feyerick asked Saturday afternoon if an approaching asteroid, which will pass by Earth on February 15, is an example of, perhaps, global warming?
Moments earlier, before an ad break, she segued from the Northeast blizzard to a segment with Bill Nye the science guy, by pointing to global warming: Every time we see a storm like this lately, the first question to pop into a lot of peoples minds is whether or not global warming is to blame? Ill talk to Bill Nye, the science guy, about devastating storms and climate change.
Audio: MP3 clip
She never got to that question in the subsequent interview at about 3:25 PM EST during CNN Newsoom, instead transitioning from a snowfall update: Talk about something else thats falling from the sky and that is an asteroid. Whats coming our way? Is this an effect of, perhaps, of global warming or is this just some meteoric occasion?
Nye resisted confirming her hypothesis.
CNN Anchor = Box ‘o rocks”
Liberals are the idiots and this proves it.
Of course it is; asteroids are tired of the bone-chilling cold of outer space. They want to go anywhere it's warm, or warming up. Expect to see more of them in these parts.
And to think, millions believe this tripe.
Pathetic really.
Human stupidity and dishonesty is an epidemic, and it is terminal.
ridiculous.
scary asteroids come from the Koch brothers.
You know, Ms Feyerick, that the earth is essentially a molten planet with a very thin crust moving about its surface? There’s a much more thin atmosphere on that crust and a thin layer of water on that crust too. Do you think that perhaps the earth’s composition is important, too, along with the effect of that asteroid?
The new dark ages are upon us.
Zombies wouldn’t scrape enough from her skull to make an hors d’oeuvre.
First question pops into my mind is how do these losers keep their jobs?
Because there are plenty of idiots out there who will buy this global warming crap.
On the contrary, a Box o' rocks is at least useful (boat anchor, garden decoration).
Why, yes. Yes, asteroids are caused by global warming! And, if you’re raising your kids to be as monumentally ignorant and poorly-educated as Deb Feyerick, your child, too, may grow up to be a national cable news anchor.
“I was only kidding” seems to be one if the more common things liberals say when called on their absurdities. I suppose when your entire world view is based upon absurdities there must be a frequent need to claim you were only kidding. I’d love to ask one of these “intellectuals” why they think the measured temperate on Mars seems to be rising. I’m guessing there would be some reference to SUVs.
