Not to worry, the muslims in Britain will remedy this. Just be patient.
I think gay marriage is just about the dumbest idea I’ve ever heard about, the very notion of it....not to mention immoral. But I wonder, once it’s legal, will any gays really take advantage of it?
AND: will any non gays care any more? I think once the “forbidden fruit” is no longer forbidden, they’ll abandon it. I think they like the fight more than getting married.
Canada legalized same-sex marriage long ago and the only thing that has changed is you never hear about same-sex marriage any more ,give them nothing to complain about and they go away ,don’t forget they are there they have always been there
Now that the liberals have all but won the fight for same-sex "marriage," polygamy will be their next big cause.
Gay Marriage is not what will destroy England. The Welfare State and allowing mass immigration of Muslims is what will destroy England.
I’ve always thought it was a just a new way to blackmail people.
Imagine this becomes legal, some rich guy gets drunk in a bar in Vegas—bam—he’s “married” the next day to another guy followed by a “divorce” with publicity.”Alimony” payments would be one hell of a way to someone’s bank account.
Imagine how messy legal problems/embarrassing this would be if it happened to college kids, male or female. This will just lead to people screwing up lives for money.
At its core, this is a drive to deny God, to destroy individual bodies and souls, as many of them as possible, and to destroy the moral and physical foundations of entire civilizations and nations. A scheme totally disconnected from any sense of right or reason, one which was undoubtedly hatched in the pits of hell.
If Britain and America, a nation that was intended to be a shining city set on a hill, are allowed to be so destroyed, a curtain of darkness shall descend on the entire world.
Folks need to wake up to the seriousness of this matter. It truly represents an existential threat.
To the state in the modern era, the definition it uses is whatever judges, pols, or the voting majority think it is at any one time. Pope Leo XIII warned about the state’s influence concerning marriage 130 years ago. Makes you wonder what the state might consider marriage in another 130 years.

It should come as no surprise to anyone that those who want to change the definition of the word “marriage” are mostly the same people who have changed the definitions of crucially-important words like “person,” “posterity,” “life,” “equal,” and “due process,” leading to the slaughter of more than fifty million innocent children in this country alone.
Justice, the rule of law, and in fact civilization itself, are impossible without a common, reasonable understanding of the meanings of words, one that is based in an awareness of the laws of nature and of nature’s God.
Destroy that, and ultimately, you will have destroyed everything.
Words mean things. We can never forget that.
This makes me think Lords may have what it takes to stop it.
And I don't agreewith this articl that Lords stopping it won't do anything because of the assumption that Commons will vote it again and again. It's possible next time that many of the "voting present" in Commons will vote "no" next time, which shows a decrease in support, not an increase. We'll see.
btw, in Poland last week, the government rejected an attempt to allow "civil unions" -- so ther eis still some hope!
All wishful thinking aside, in England the canons have no cannon, the Church of England being unarmed save by prayer and doctrine. The military orders, the Templars and Hospitalers, used to have cannon, but they left their cannon in Canaan.
