A named storm is easier to remember and refer to in the future. Well...it's the 'future'. We all know about 'Nemo'. Can anyone name 'A' thru 'L' from earlier this winter season? No peeking. How about the current 'O' "ravaging" the upper Midwest?

Named storms also make it easier to get money(which they simply create) from devastated storm victims that can later be used to buy.......... more votes.
