Hey! LAPD he ain’t up there anymore! He is resting in a safe house watching the coverage on MSNBC or CNN and planning his next move.

He may be out of the area and watching the search efforts with amusement..
But narcissitic personalities need to be fed.
If the media and LAPD had any sense, they would stop playing to his incessant need for attention by covering this perp’s story fifteen times a day.
His mistake could be that he then surfaces and gets himself whacked in the process.

His goal is to be famous. Being dead is not as high on his priority list as is evidenced in his manifesto.

Dorner is high on his own power now but as soon as he feels that he is losing control, ie that they are closing in on him..he will off himself and deny the LAPD their dream of pumping him full of bullets.

If somehow there is a showdown, wonder if one of the SWAT team will have blanks so they don’t have to live with the guilt of knowing that they killed him? This is California, after all.
