Ah yes, it is beautiful to look at or visit but I wouldn't want to live in it!
It's one thing I miss about So. California. In 90 minutes I could be in Big Bear in the snow, conversely I could be on the beach in sunny warm weather in Santa Monica.
Glad to hear you're doing okay.
Someone posted a thread this morning about the pure white light of snow, which covers the crimson in our world (or something like that).
I was not happy, well, pretty ticked off, at having to remove all this snow to get out, until I read his thread.
I then went outside to see what he was talking about. I was surrounded with nothing but PURE white. Thinking of his thread while taking it in, I actually felt joy!
Yes, I’m still a little pissy (as of now) about having to go clean my car and shovel a bit, however, I already have decided no matter how I feel now, when I go out there tomorrow, I will have Him in mind. I will be doing it for His glory and thanking Him for covering this crimson earth with His great pure white.
All while singing What A Friend We Have in Jesus. I will also pray He helps me with my lower back. I’m usually disabled after shoveling myself out!
