True.
But As I said on another thread, it has to be this way. People will not wake up as long as they don’t have to. They will ride the train into the wall. But once they hit the wall...well, then suddenly they notice it was there.
Just as many on the right as the left are this way, much as we don’t want to admit it. We see that in all the excuses people make for the GOP and other such issues. They will ride that train into the wall as well. And once that house of cards falls, the excuses will stop since there will be no one but themselves left to listen. And making excuses to yourself eventually results in a bad outcome anyway.
The good part to all this is natural will reassert itself. Just as it has throughout all the history people ignore when building every Utopia that has, and always will, fail.
Edit: Natural LAW will reassert itself...

I don’t want to see this great nation brought down, and I get no pleasure from seeing other people suffer. Nevertheless, you’re absolutely right. As a nation, we’re planting the seeds of our own destruction.
I try to see clearly. The real world IS around us, and it has no time for nonsense like same-sex marriage (as though two guys could possibly create a union! LOL!), the ridiculous concept that men and women are the same, that everyone can be rich by doing nothing and simply printing $, or that divorce, single parenthood, and shuffling children off into daycare has no negative impact.
I agree we’re gonna hit the wall, and there’s no stopping it. Even if you and I and others are able to see clearly, the vast majority won’t. The only way they’ll wake up is when it comes crashing down and they find they don’t have the most basic skills or resources necessary for survival in the real world. It’s not a matter of if. It’s a matter of when.
