Consider that it appears that the LAPD has orders to shoot to kill regardless of collateral damage, and, as mentioned on another thread, that it appears that any hostage will be a primary target as well.

Meh. Given enough people and stress, some nut is going to crack at some point. It’s not all going to add up...that’s why he’s a cracked nut.

Given the reaction some cops had to finding a similar vehicle, I can believe why he cracked.

What really won’t add up is the political fallout. They’ve been waiting for someone like him to happen. They just won’t know what to do with the fact he’s a raging Leftist.
