RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) Authorities confirm that a burned-out truck matching the description of a getaway vehicle owned by triple-murder suspect Christopher Dorner was found in the San Bernardino mountains Thursday.
Police were searching Thursday for 33-year-old Dorner, a former Los Angeles Police Department officer, after he was named a suspect Wednesday night in a double homicide in Irvine.
Authorities said the officers were stopped at a red light while on routine patrol around 1:35 a.m. Thursday when someone shot them.
Two of our officers were involved in a shooting at the intersection of Arlington and Magnolia. Both officers were shot and transported to a local hospital. One was pronounced dead, the other one is currently in surgery and is in critical condition, Officer Bryan Galbreath told KNX 1070.

When they autopsy his brain I’m going to guess he has football bumper brain damage.
You are very wrong. He is disciplined, a highly trained military marksman with superior firepower of several types which has documented on the manifesto he had on the web. He is killing certain cops and cop officials that caused him to be dismissed as a cop. Due to that dismissal, he also lost his position in the military.
He gave a list of all the names of the cops and cop officials he would kill, including their families. He said he will stop killing when they tell the truth about his being dismissed off the police force. He is stalking these people. He said he would only kill others if they tried to stop him getting these people.
His first two kills was a woman and her fiancee on a parking lot. The woman was the daughter of one of those he said he would kill. A cop is stationed at the home of every one on his kill list.
He has his act totally planned and focused. The cops are scared and that's why they shot up one or two trucks that matched his before they knew who was in the truck or trucks. They shot two women who are in the hospital and didn't die.
Now he has torched his truck and no one knows where he is or what he is driving, if he is driving. His billfold was found at the airport, but I figure that is a red herring and he didn't leave but wanted the cops to think he might have left. He's not going anywhere until he kills those people or gets killed. He said in the manifesto he knows he will be killed. Then, he began to talk about political people he supports - which some are Obama and Piers Morgan and Hillary, Joe Biden, etc. - all liberals. he wants “dangerous” guns like he has right now, taken from citizens, such as “assault” rifles and multi-cartridge magazines.
This reads like a movie but it's real.
Why would he kill the daughter of a target?
The guy is obviously deranged.
What did she do to upset his view of a perfect world?
This guy crossed the line right away.
I am not a big fan of LAPD but, this guy is a nut.
Don't you give the Hollywood hacks any ideas! And Harrison Ford is too old for this role. Too thin and too pale!

Dorner, who has undergone training at the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center in Dam Neck,* Va. .....
http://www.ehow.com/about_6710464_naval-intelligence-officer-training.html
After attending OCS, prospective naval intelligence officers must attend a five-month basic instruction training course at the Navy and Marine Corps Intelligence Training Center in Dam Neck, Virginia. During this training, officers receive instruction in various forms of warfare....
Once intelligence officers graduate from basic intelligence instruction training, they are dispatched on a 30-month long operational fleet tour...
Dorner was commissioned as a Lieutenant in July 2002, He was out about 2 & 1/2 years(30 months) later, in about January, 2005. Yet if you add 5 months of basic intel school plus a 30 month tour, you get at least 35 months of an active duty commitment. So this guy left the service early, which I think is quite unusual.** When the military spends all that money and time training you, there are going to get their money’s worth. So why did they cut him loose early? Or did they?
*For what it’s worth, Dam Neck, VA is also the home of the infamous Seal Team 6.
**Though there have been notable exceptions. Lee Harvey Oswald, for example.
That apparently is not the “complete” one.
LL Cool J could play Dorner. Lookalikes.
Well, all the taxi drivers in L.A. who, as everybody knows, are really “screenwriters” to be, are sitting down at their keyboards as we speak cranking out the opening scenes.
The woman basketball coach was the daughter of one of the cops involved in his dismissal. He said he was going to kill those particular cops AND their families.
May the best script win. We all know the movie is coming.
The DUmp monkeys must not have seen this picture before they decided that this lunatic is their new folk hero. What is with some people turning stone killers into heros? It reminds me of the macabre cult of sociopaths Bonnie and Clyde and the way some try to make them out to be Depression era Robin Hoods, when they mostly robbed little mom-and-pop concerns, and only gave the money to their families, spending most of their small takes on flashy clothes, and killed officers who stopped to help them sometimes, thinking they had car trouble. Even Dillinger thought they were two-bit scum, and that’s something, coming from the likes of him. It’s disgusting and disturbing.
The anti-hero (i.e. the perp) will be a pale face, wanna bet?!
Seems reasonable /s
The guy is unhinged.
Somebody said Ni***r and he went ballistic.
Somebody pushed him so he want’s to kill their Mom.
This guy is mental.
“Why would he kill the daughter of a target?”
He said he wanted them to feel loss like he had to feel loss when they did that to him. He said they took away his good name - his life.
I read there is an officer at the home of all targets on that list. He also said he knows the routine of all those families and knows where they all live.
Speaking of coins. Tea bagger Anderson's coin.
For all his defenders, this guy is mental.
The point is, he is not uncontrolled - he is very controlled and has a plan; he is focused and that makes him extremely dangerous.
