When I was a teenager, growing up in Spain, my grandfather was a dairy farmer. Well, actually he owned a successful business in Madrid, and spent every penny he made improving his dairy farm. He would buy a new bull very frequently, until the year that he decided to give a try to frozen sperm from some prize-winning bull in Canada. Not a single cow became pregnant. My grandfather was very upset, had his secretary call the Canadian firm selling the sperm to complain. Then he ordered some more... with the same results (or lack of results). I'm not sure how many more times they tried, then I rode with him to the farm to try to find out what was the problem. When asked, the farm manager explained that yes, they had given the sperm to the cows... in their drinking water! It makes me wonder about the failed attempts at Razan Medical Center, LOL!

It begs the question of where the said substance was smuggled? Given the proclivities of Muslims, and prisoners in particular, one can assume a body cavity search was not performed on those leaving the prison. Just saying .... ;)

When I was young we had an AI (Artificial Insemination) tech come to the farm and do the necessary job. He had the bull semen in a nitrogen container and used a long plastic straw with a bulb on the end to release the semen in the cow.
Sometime it worked, some times we had to call him back the next month to do it again.
