A new poll shows Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell is struggling to retain support among voters.
The Courier-Journal Bluegrass Poll shows that twice as many voters are against McConnell as there are supporting him. It also finds that only one-third of Republicans support him in the 2014 election.

If Tokyo Rove and his cabal really want to take out a weak candidate prior to the election, they should take out the weak and worthless Mitch McConnell.

I’ll probably catch hell for saying this again, but the only way the republicans in the senate will have new leadership is if the current leaders (McConnell and Cornyn) are removed from office. For the simple reason that no republican in the senate will dare challenge them and even if they did, the rest would rally around them.
McConnell has proved to be a very weak leader and Cornyn has supported every moderate he could find. Maybe McConnell’s support will go so low that he’ll retire. Thirty years in the Senate is long enough!

Why? McConnell’s one of their guys.

Don’t worry. Mitch will do the John McCain routine.
You know, make conservative noises between now and 2014, fool everybody, then go back to being a gutless wonder in the first session of the 2015 Congress.
Works for McCain every time in AZ. Why not in KY?

Senator-Elect Ashley Judd.
That's why the good conservatives of Kentucky need to Primary Mitch and get a conservative to run in his place.

I know they are the problem, but some on here don’t like me speaking ill of other republicans, or encouraging their defeat so that conservatsim can be advanced, not thwarted.

The real question is what will Rand Paul do? Endorse Mitch, or a real conservative.
If you look at the 14 GOP senate seats up in 2014, you can make a real argument that McConnell's is the most at risk..

When you look up “Good Old Boy Network” in the dictionary, it says “see Kentucky”. Are there any conservatives with a chance?

The real question is what will Rand Paul do?
Endorse Mitch, or a real conservative.well...he may "sit" it out; its seems Marble-Mouthed Mitch McConnell...
really despises Rand Paul's Conservationism and those whom endorse it...
& besides: it really disrupts his Golf game & the GOP/e Cocktail Party Circuit.
